A machinery-and-tool manufacturing firm asked Mineral Masters to address a waste water issue at its plant. The manufacturer collects approximately 4,000 to 5,000 gallons of waste water per month. It was being shipped off site for disposal to the tune of $50,000 to $60,000 per year.

Mineral Masters sampled and analyzed the water on the various waste streams, and found them to be very treatable. The Mineral Masters team designed a system with a large treatment tank, where the waste water was mixed with chemicals. The sludge was then settled out of the waste water. The process resulted in clean, reusable water and sludge. Then sludge was then put through a filter press system and compacted into a dense thick cake for easy disposal. The clean water was pumped to a clean water storage tank, where the water could be repurposed or put down the drain.

This system saved the company the $50-$60,000 per year for disposal - and simplified their process. Mineral Masters showed up to deliver an ROI for the manufacturing firm in less than a year.
